Lillian's Poetry

Good day to you and compliments of the season. I'm Lillian Onofiok, I'm 16, currently waiting on UNILAG, where I intend on pursuing a career in Mass Communication. I also listen to a lot of music sometimes dance and sing as well. I write a lot, it's actually a talent, I think. I've been writing since I was 10, (although most of that stuff I can't find anymore). Well for me, the best part about writing is when people can relate to what I write. I honestly hope you relate to it too. Thank you.

DO IT ANYWAY

You can spend your whole life building, something from nothing and some wind could come and blow it all away, build it anyway. You can chase a dream you know you may never achieve, dream it anyway.

Sometimes when I pray, it doesn't always turn out like I hoped it would, but I do it anyway. You can love someone for all the right reasons and in a moment they can choose to walk away, love them anyway.

When you know that tomorrow may not be better than today, believe it anyway. Sometimes, we come so far with some people only for them to leave us hanging, wish them well anyway.

You may even sing and make people cry and tomorrow they'll forget you ever sang, sing it anyway. So I sing, I love and I believe, because even if I may get hurt, I did it anyway.
